“A Harbour Cruise is the ideal way to take in the views of Cairns City by day or night. The bright lights add sparkle and a whole different perspective. Watch it all pass by as you sip your champagne and feel the sea breeze”

“This is a good way to see Cairns from the water by cruising along Trinity Inlet for two hours. Tea, coffee and cakes are provided when you first board and when underway, there is a very informative commentary.
With a detour into Falls Creek, you get the feel of where boats are safely moored if a cyclone is imminent. We did not see any crocodiles but they do exist in the area.
I would certainly recommend this as an activity”

“I chose this tour as a way to introduce the children to travelling by boat. They were a little nervous at first but were quickly at ease as we took off from the marina. The lunch at Dundees was fantastic with staff treating you like a Vip I would definitely go back to dine. The staff on the boat were very welcoming and the afternoon tea provided was awesome with regular top ups of coffee fruit and cakes. The extras such as soft drink or alcohol were all quite inexpensive and not ‘tourist ‘ prices. The skipper on board regails you with a lot of information making it sound as though it’s the first time he’s said it. You are free to wander the boat during the cruise with my children opting to sit on the deck. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice laid back cruise”

“Hello,
Janette (wife) and I went on the 1-30 pm Harbour Cruise on Saturday the 5th of July, very impressed with the variety of teas and refreshments available for the balance of the Harbour cruise. Mike Bird is a credit to your company, we not only thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, but Mikes ongoing commentary on the recent history of Cairns, really made the trip.

One of Cairns best kept secrets, magnificent !!”

“We had a very relaxing trip on the 11.00 am start up the estuary on this cruise. The staff on board were friendly and the commentary informative. You get to see a part of Cairns that is not visible from the road. We didn’t see any crocs or snakes, but did see plenty of birds. I certainly don’t hold it against the tour operators that the wildlife didn’t cooperate! It’s not action-packed, but we didn’t expect it to be. Worth the modest cost.

“There are three options: Morning, afternoon or sunset tours. At a previous visit we did the sunset tour, so this time we took the afternoon trip which was preceded my lunch at Dundee’s restaurant.

Both the lunch and boat trip was most enjoyable, with a very informative comentary along the way.”

“This tour goes up the estuary and you get to see the mountains just inland of the town from a different perspective, the mangroves that form such an important part of the local ecosystem and the occasional salt water crocodile.

The light food supplied was lovely, the commentary interesting, the views and the mangroves and the crocodiles meant the cameras kept clicking and all up it was a lovely way to spend some of the afternoon.

Given this cruise leaves from the heart of Cairns it is probably within walking distance of most of the accommodation tourists are likely to have booked and it is suitable for all ages. Recommended.”

“I did the half day trip with the glass bottom boat tour included. Trekked around the island as well. Beautiful place and hope to get back again some day. Big Cat know how to make this trip happen from check in to return to Cairns. Dylan and the crew really look after you.”

“Very good value for money comparing to other options which can be booked in Cairns. The staff are fabulous with a great sense of humour and provide an excellent service. Would definitely recommend to use them to anyone!!”
